The health status of Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabe Davis does not sound promising.
On Saturday, the wideout was a surprise addition to the Bills’ final injury report ahead of facing the Tennessee Titans on Monday Night Football in Week 2. He was listed with an ankle injury.
According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, Davis was injured on a non-contact play during practice. The issue does not sound long term, but it does not sound like Davis will be on the field against the Titans.
Garafolo said Davis sounds “more doubtful” in terms of his game status.
See the attached video clip below for the full breakdown on Davis:
#Bills WR Gabe Davis suffered an ankle sprain on a non-contact play in practice yesterday. Team not ruling him out and holding out hope but he's very much in question for the game against the #Titans. https://t.co/PxYC3zP1l0
