Titans’ top PFF grades and stats from Week 1 loss to Giants

The Titans’ top PFF grades and stats in multiple areas from their Week 1 loss.

With Week 1 of the 2022 campaign in the books, it’s time to take a deeper dive into advanced metrics to see how the Tennessee Titans performed against the New York Giants in the losing effort.

While the end result certainly wasn’t what the Titans wanted, they did get some solid performances from their 2022 draft class.

In terms of rookie wide receivers around the NFL, Treylon Burks and Kyle Philips ranked third and fourth, respectively, in overall grade on offense, while offensive tackle Nicholas Petit-Frere and tight end Chigoziem Okonkwo ranked second and sixth at their positions among rookies.

On defense, cornerback Roger McCreary landed as the second-highest rookie — not a bad start at all for Tennessee’s 2022 draft class.

Now, let’s take a look at how Tennessee performed in multiple aspects of the game on offense and defense, including pass-rush and coverage numbers, courtesy of Pro Football Focus.
