Despite coming up with a couple of sacks of Tom Brady in the season opener for the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night, [autotag]Micah Parsons[/autotag] and the Cowboys came up well short of a victory against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the season opener. Parsons was credited for playing a terrific game as he looks to go out and set the NFL record for most sacks in a season, but it was a block he took from Bucs running back Leonard Fournette that really got Parsons riled up on Twitter after the game Sunday night.
Fournette came in to deliver a big block on Parsons that knocked the former Penn State linebacker and the 2021 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year on his feet. Parsons appeared to not even be looking in Fournette’s direction, thus allowing Fournette to get a big hit on Parsons without him having a clue it was coming.

The hit in question has been a topic of conversation in NFL talking circles all day long on the Monday after the first Sunday of the NFL season, and Parsons took to Twitter to call out Fournette for the hit.
Now go watch the tape! And see what happenned when it was me and him one on one!!! You hit someone not looking you straight pus**y !! Stop hyping this weak as* shit it’s football!! 😂😂 https://t.co/ITprQ4ECRg

Fournette saw the tweet from Parsons and responded with a Crying Michael Jordan meme.

Parsons has his defenders, of course. Von Miller of the Buffalo Bills suggested the hit delivered by Fournette should not be allowed by the NFL.
This block must be taken out the game ! This is the future and we are just letting the offense tee off on our marquee pass rushers! You can get the job done without this much contact! https://t.co/alEmMzEehk

Interestingly, one of the sack recorded by Parsons on Sunday night came with him getting around former Penn State offensive lineman Donovan Smith.

Parsons did seem to put the topic to rest later on by suggesting this was all just football.
There is legit nothing to be mad about it’s FOOTBALL!! Crack blocks happens!! Y’all are so funny!!!
