Four-star PG discusses recruitment and visit to UNC

A top 10 recruit talks about the UNC basketball program and the involvement they have in his recruitment so far.

Hubert Davis and the UNC basketball program are in hot pursuit of a top 10 player in the 2024 recruiting class and are hoping to eventually secure a commitment.

Four-star point guard [autotag]Elliott Cadeau[/autotag] is a priority target for Davis and his staff as they’ve made that clear with visits and interest. The Missouri native has a total of 17 offers in his recruitment so far and is seeing his recruitment pick up. He has two visits set, one to Texas Tech on September 24th and one to UNC on October 4th, as well as planning more for the Fall.

But where do things stand in Cadeau’s recruitment? The recruit recently caught up with Eric Bossi of 247Sports to talk about his recruitment and the teams involved.

Here is what Cadeau said about UNC:

North Carolina: “I just talk to their coaches a lot. I talk to coach Hubert Davis every day. Well not every day but at least every couple of days. We are just starting to get to know each other and building a relationship and stuff like that.”

In addition to UNC and Texas Tech, Cadeau is drawing interest from UCLA, Baylor, and Louisville.

Cadeau is ranked No. 9 overall, the No. 1 point guard, and No. 1 player in the state of Missouri per the 247Sports recruiting rankings.
