5 players who should be next in line to grace the cover of NBA 2K WNBA edition

Five easy choices!

It’s July, so naturally, it’s that time of year again when NBA 2K lovers begin to get previews for the upcoming title.

The powerhouse announced on Tuesday that the legendary Michael Jordan would grace one of its 2K23 covers (his first time since 2K11). And on Wednesday, they let it be known that Sue Bird and Diana Taurasi would be the NBA 2K23 WNBA edition cover athletes.

The WNBA edition will be the second of its kind after Candace Parker was the 2K22 cover athlete, the first-ever female to grace NBA 2K’s cover.

And while the Bird-Taurasi duo never fails to hit the mark, it would have been a nice gesture for the series to include Sylvia Fowles, another Hall-of-Fame bound player who is calling it quits after this season.

Nevertheless, this title announcement has me thinking of who should be in line for future NBA 2K titles.

Here’s a list of five.
