Although he didn’t receive an invite to the NBA combine last month, former Wisconsin Badgers guard Brad Davison is getting another chance to showcase his talents, this time in his home state of Minnesota.
Already having participated in workouts with the Atlanta Hawks and the Brooklyn Nets, Darren Wolfson of KSTP is now reporting that Wisconsin’s all-time leader in made three’s has a workout scheduled with the Minnesota Timberwolves this coming week.
After utilizing his fifth year of eligibility last season, the Minnesota native had a career year, averaging 14.1 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.1 assists en route to being named second-team All-Big Ten.
The additional exposure bodes well for Davison’s chances of landing on an NBA summer league roster, or earning a contract to play professionally overseas should he choose to pursue it.
