Joel Embiid told Drake he was ‘coming for the sweep’ after hitting a ridiculous buzzer beater against the Raptors

It’s officially over for the Raptors now.

Joel Embiid finally got revenge on the Raptors for the Kawhi Leonard shot back in 2019 and, man, he’s feeling fantastic about it.

How do I know? Because when Embiid feels good, he talks trash. Lots of it.

That’s exactly how he followed up that incredible game-winning shot he hit to seal the 76ers comeback win and give them an insurmountable 3-0 lead in the series against Toronto. And the victim, in this case, was Drake.

Embiid was walking off the court and heading into the locker room when, all of a sudden, he spotted Toronto’s pride and joy and decided to make him a little less proud.

Embiid put things pretty bluntly for Drake. “That’s what you call a superstar. Get your [expletive] up. I’m coming for the sweep, too.” Well, alright then, buddy. I guess he’s coming for the sweep.

It’s over for the Raptors, man. Nothing they can do with this guy. 76ers fans are thrilled.
