While the Raiders pulled off two huge moves last week acquiring Davante Adams and Chandler Jones, they haven’t stopped looking to improve their team. Heading into Week 2 of free agency, the Raiders still have several holes on their roster that they need to address before the draft.
One of those spots is at linebacker as the team released Cory Littleton and Nick Kwiatoski last week. It’s also worth mentioning that K.J. Wright is also a free agent, which means the Raiders need to add some depth to their linebacker corps.
That’s exactly what the Raiders are doing on Monday as they are hosting free-agent linebacker Micah Kiser, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media.
Former #Rams and #Broncos LB Micah Kiser just landed in Las Vegas and is visiting the #Raiders today, source said. A possible defensive addition.

Kiser was traded to the Broncos last year and went on to play 10 games with the team. In four years in the NFL, Kiser has appeared in 36 games and has tallied 100 tackles. He’s also played 337 snaps on special teams in his career, which is another reason why the Raiders are hosting him on Monday.
While Kiser doesn’t project to be a starter for the Raiders, he is only 27 years old and could give the team some additional depth at linebacker. We shall see if the Raiders can get a deal done on Monday with the former fifth-round pick from the Rams.
