Aaron Rodgers is running it back in Green Bay.
But will he be the highest paid player in NFL history? That might not be the case.
It was initially reported that he agreed to sign a four-year contract that would pay him $153 million guaranteed (!). But Rodgers denied that was the case.
He did confirm he was staying with the Packers, in case there was any doubt — and if that had been the case, Twitter would be melting down at the moment — but did say the contract terms reported weren’t accurate and that he hadn’t signed yet.
A teeny bit more drama!
Hey everyone, just wanted to clear some things up; YES I will be playing with the @packers next year, however, reports about me signing a contract are inaccurate, as are the supposed terms of the contract I “signed”. I’m very excited to be back 💪🏼 #year18❤️

We’ll see if we found out the true terms when he signs.
