Rams-Bengals injury report: Akers and Jefferson practice in full, Higbee still out

After practicing at the Rose Bowl on Thursday, the Rams issued their second injury report of the week. Akers and Jefferson practiced, but Higbee is still out.

The Rams packed up and headed to the Rose Bowl on Thursday for their second practice of the week. High winds in Thousand Oaks led to the change in location, but the Rams were still able to get in a normal day of practice.

On their second injury report, Tyler Higbee was still listed as a non-participant. His status for the Super Bowl is in doubt as he continues to recover from a sprained MCL. Joe Noteboom was limited by a chest injury after sitting out Wednesday’s walk-through.

Cam Akers and Van Jefferson got in a full practice session, which is great news with the Super Bowl approaching. They’re on track to play against the Bengals, not that there was any real doubt about their availability.

Bengals tight end C.J. Uzomah was upgraded from DNP to limited, though he still isn’t certain to play on Sunday. He has the same injury as Higbee, an MCL sprain suffered last week.
