The Georgia Bulldogs are still basking in the glory of a long-awaited national championship. Not surprisingly, the Bulldogs are already considered one of the betting favorites to be the next national champion according to the first batch of future championship odds released by Tipico this week.
And if you want to put a couple of bucks down on Penn State to win it all next season, you could be in for quite a payday if it works out. The Nittany Lions are +6000 to win next season’s national championship according to Tipico. Among Big Ten teams on the board, Penn State has the third-best odds to win it all next season. Ohio State (+800) and Michigan (+4000) each have better odds to take home the College Football Playoff national championship in 2022. Wisconsin (+8000) also makes the early cut for national championship odds from Tipico.
Penn State will be an intriguing team next season as there will be a good amount of roster turnover on defense and a serious need to improve some aspects of the offense. Talent to win games is in Happy Valley, but some positions may need younger and inexperienced players to grow up quickly while veterans like Sean Clifford help smooth things over for a challenging schedule.
Here are the early national championship odds from Tipico as of January 13, 2022:
- +200 Georgia
- +200 Alabama
- +800 Ohio State
- +1000 Clemson
- +4000 Oregon
