Winning at home hasn’t come easy for the Falcons this season, however, their road contests, including their London matchup against the Jets, have been a much different story. The team is 6-2 thus far in games played away from Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
During Week 15, the Falcons travel to San Francisco for a matchup against the 7-6 49ers. Each of the team’s four remaining games are crucial in earning a playoff berth.
Per the oddsmakers at Tipico Sportsbook, San Francisco is a 9.5-point favorite over Atlanta for Sunday’s game. The 49ers haven’t fared that well at home, but not to the extent of Atlanta. Tipico also gives the Falcons a 24 percent win probability.

Needless to say, the Falcons will have chances to score, it’s just whether or not they capitalize.

The Falcons have a knack for keeping their opponent in the contest. Even if the game is close early on and the team finds some breathing room on the scoreboard, the offense’s inability to put games away has continued to be a problem for Atlanta.
