Coming off a 21-14 loss to the Atlanta Falcons, the road doesn’t get any easier. The Jacksonville Jaguars now head to the West Coast, where their struggles have been frequent, to take on one of the most talented teams in football in the Los Angeles Rams.
The Rams sit at 7-4 and possess the No. 4 passing offense in the league led by Matthew Stafford, a new addition to the team in 2021. Though the Rams have struggled a bit in recent weeks as Stafford has thrown a pick-six in each of the last three games, this is an opportunity to get right against a Jaguars secondary that will be without arguably its best player in No. 1 cornerback Shaquill Griffin.
Griffin missed the game against the Falcons, as well, and it resulted in the best game of rookie Tyson Campbell’s career. But Campbell will face a much tougher test this week, and he and Nevin Lawson (who will start in place of Griffin) will have their hands full.
Pair the Rams’ explosive offense with one of the best front fours in football, and it could be a long afternoon for the Jaguars in Los Angeles. Still, if you want to watch the Jags’ game locally on FOX at 4:05 EST, it will be available in the orange shaded areas below, per 506sports.
As you can see, the game will only be televised in Florida within the areas surrounding Jacksonville, as well as a small portion of southeast Georgia. On the West Coast, it will be available throughout most of southern California. Kevin Kugler and Mark Sanchez, who played college football in Los Angeles at the University of Southern California, will be on the call for FOX.
The Jaguars have already pulled off one upset over a potential playoff team in the Buffalo Bills. They will look for another this week despite a 3-14 record all-time when playing on the West Coast.
