WATCH: Celtics coach Ime Udoka talks about Boston’s brutal December schedule

Udoka spoke with WEEI’s Zolak and Bertrand in a recent interview about the looming challenges of this month.

The Boston Celtics have the toughest month in terms of strength of schedule to contend with in the month of December, and started it out on a positive note with an 88 – 87 win over the Philadelphia 76ers at TD Garden on Wednesday.

The teams yet to be played begin Friday night with the start of the Celtics’ yearly West Coast swing as they face the No. 1 offense in the NBA in the Utah Jazz, and it doesn’t relent much the rest of the way. With only one team on their schedule who currently has a losing record left on the slate of games to play before the new year, Boston has its work cut out for them.

Watch the clip embedded below to hear what Ime Udoka has to say about the team’s tough stretch of games coming throughout the month of December, as well as his feelings on Enes Kanter Freedom’s name change and citizenship, as well as his closeness to star forward Jayson Tatum.
