LB Matthew Judon has fun at the expense of DT Christian Barmore

Matthew Judon had fun at the expense of Christian Barmore, as he noticed the Tennessee Titans’ gameplan for him

The Tennessee Titans took a unique approach to blocking New England Patriots defensive tackle Christian Barmore on Sunday. In a 35-13 victory, the Titans made sure bar Moore was not going to get the quarterback Ryan Tannehill

Barmore drew four Titans players, as the rookie tried to get to Tannehill. In the meantime, teammate Matthew Judon was confused about the Titans approach to blocking. Judon has drawn the attention of opposing linemen himself. With 11.5 sacks on the year, he has become a major weapon in the Patriots pass rushing attack.

Per Dakota Randall of NESN.com, Judon took the opportunity to have some light-hearted fun at Barmore’s expense.

“Yeah, I mean, I don’t know why they need that many people blocking him,” a laughing Judon at Gillette Stadium. “But he helps me out. Barmore helps me out. Sometimes they gotta block him, sometimes they gotta block me, but they gotta pick (their) poison and they gotta do it fast and they gotta do it on the fly because we play very fast.”

“They can put four on him all the time,” he said. “I suggest blocking Barmore with more people. I think you should take the tackle and the guard and block Barmore all the time and leave the (running) back to me. I think it would be more productive for offenses. But, if they don’t listen to me, they don’t listen to me.”

Barmore is having a solid season in his own right. He has recorded 30 tackles and half a sack. He is coming off a game against the Tennessee Titans in which he recorded four tackles on the day. The combination of Barmore and Judon has made life difficult for opposing offensive lines
