Kevin Durant is named the Eastern Conference Player of the Month

Kevin Durant’s leadership has the Brooklyn Nets sitting at the top of the Eastern Conference.

Kevin Durant went absolutely crazy in the month of November to lead the Brooklyn Nets to a 11-3 record. With averages of 29 PPG, 7 RPG and 6 APG on 52% accuracy, Durant was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Month for November on Thursday.

In 37 MPG, the Nets star was Mr. Reliable despite not having Kyrie Irving, Joe Harris and Nic Claxton and Paul Millsap playing for each game. Now that Brooklyn sits with a record of 15-6 and the first seed in the East, the Washington native is well on track of adding another MVP award to his trophy case.

It’s not going to be easy though because this team is still trying to find their identity. With plenty of time to figure this out in the coming months, a winning recipe to take down the elite teams in the league will be the deciding factor of what this team is capable of. It’s safe to say that Durant is more than ready to step up for the challenge, he is at the forefront for his squad on this journey.
