How former Vols fared in NBA games on Saturday.

One former University of Tennessee basketball player was in action in the NBA Friday. Three others were inactive.

In San Antonio, the Spurs outlasted the Celtics, 96-88, at AT&T Center.

Grant Williams came off the bench for Boston. He scored seven points, while playing 27 minutes against San Antonio. He also had five rebounds, three blocks and one assist.

Williams, a 2019 first-round draft pick by the Celtics and a two-time Southeastern Conference Player of the Year while at Tennessee, was 3-for-4 from the floor and 1-for-2 from beyond the 3-point arc.

Josh Richardson was inactive for Boston against the Spurs.

In Memphis, the Grizzlies fell to Atlanta, 132-100. Rookie Yves Pons was inactive for Memphis.

In Los Angeles, the Clippers outlasted Detroit, 107-96, at Staples Center. Keon Johnson was inactive against the Pistons.
