When the NFL schedule was released early in the year, the league purposefully marked some games with a time that was to be determined at a later date.
For the Miami Dolphins, that game was the Week 15 matchup with the New York Jets at Hard Rock Stadium. On Tuesday afternoon, the team announced on social media that the game will officially be played Sunday, Dec. 19 at 1 p.m.
Between now and then the Dolphins play the Panthers and Giants, and they also get their bye week. It isn’t completely out of the question that this Week 15 game could be the one to get the team back to a .500 record.
New York, on the other hand, plays the Texans, Eagles, and Saints before the matchup. They’ve had some surprising wins this year, so you can’t totally count them out, but there’s a chance that the Jets are 2-11 heading into the game.
