This was too beautiful to not share.
The Texas women’s basketball social media department shared a jaw-dropping video of an outdoor bubble court that they practiced in this week. The clear frame, which looks to be located on top of a parking garage, overlooks the gorgeous city of Austin skyline at night.
Some viewers even questioned whether the video was real or not, as it looks like it is straight out of a movie. It appears to be a player-led practice, as second-year head coach Vic Schaefer and his staff are not present.
If nothing else, this is an exceptional recruiting tactic. Who wouldn’t want to have the opportunity to play in that bubble?

Several of the players posed for pictures before and after the practice as well. It’s unclear whether this will become a common occurrence, but it’s certainly a unique opportunity regardless.

Schaefer and his squad will return to the court on Tuesday, Nov. 9 to face the New Orleans Privateers. Texas will then have a tough road matchup with the defending national champions, No. 3 Stanford, on Nov. 14.
During Schaefer’s first year on the Forty Acres, he led Texas to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament.
