Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys are currently battling Mac Jones and the Patriots in New England and it sure looked like the refs missed an obvious TD that would have given the Cowboys the lead at halftime.
It all happened in the final minutes of the second quarter when the Cowboys got down to the Patriots 1 yard line. Prescott called a QB sneak and appeared to get more than half of his body across the goal line for a TD.
But the refs said he was short of the end zone and they didn’t even review the play. Prescott then fumbled on the next play and the Patriots recovered to take a 14-10 lead into the break.
This looked like a TD:

That’s a touchdown but even if you want to rule it just short for whatever reason the ball needs to be placed where Dak Prescott’s hip is. It was placed where his feet are. pic.twitter.com/GOgteQPEdc
