Robert Saleh received more good news following his first win as a head coach.
Saleh revealed that WR Elijah Moore is close to coming out of concussion protocol on Monday. The rookie missed New York’s Week 4 victory over the Titans after suffering a concussion in Week 3 against the Broncos.
Moore, the 34th overall pick, came into the season with high expectations. However, the speedy and versatile receiver has yet to make a sizeable impact, catching eight passes for 66 yards. Moore missed the entire preseason due to injury; he was thrown into the fire in his first few NFL games.
While Moore is almost ready to return, CB Brandin Echols and WR Jeff Smith are day-to-day in concussion protocol. Smith suffered his head injury in a car accident last week, while Echols exited the Titans game early on.
