No definitive word on if T.J. Watt is playing Sunday.

Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt suffered a groin injury last Sunday in the team’s loss to the Las Vegas Raiders and has been limited in practice all week. But according to Watt, he’s gotten in enough work this week and feels like the door is open for him to play this week against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Watt was limited in practice but I think after watching him go off in the first game of the season after sitting out all of training camp shows it isn’t about preparation for him.

The star pass rusher will now have two days for rest and rehab before the matchup with the Bengals to see if he is able to give it a go. Watt is likely to be a game-time decision but Watt says if he plays he’s going to go all out.

Pittsburgh is dealing with a rash of groin injuries right now. In addition, it looks like the Steelers will be without fellow outside linebacker Alex Highsmith with a groin injury as well.
