Colts remains 5.5-point underdogs to Titans in Week 3

The Colts remain 5.5-point underdogs to the Titans in Week 3.

The Indianapolis Colts (0-2) will enter the weekend as road underdogs when they travel to Nissan Stadium to face the Tennesee Titans (1-1) for a Week 3 matchup.

Opening the week as 5.5-point underdogs, per Tipico Sportsbook, the spread hasn’t changed throughout the week even though there are major questions surrounding the status of quarterback Carson Wentz.

The money line for the Colts shifted slightly in their favor to +190 while the over/under for the matchup fell one point down to 47.5.

The biggest question for this matchup revolved around Wentz and his two sprained ankles. Entering Friday, he has yet to practice and while head coach Frank Reich hinted that Wentz could still lay without practice, the odds of it happening are slim.

Now, it isn’t clear who will be the starter if Wentz is out. It seemed clear after the preseason that Jacob Eason would be the one to fill, but Brett Hundley has been taking starting reps in practice as well.

The Colts will be looking to avoid a dreaded 0-3 start, which would diminish just about any hopes of claiming a division title down the stretch.
