Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy suffers gruesome injury vs. Giants

Let’s hope Jerry Jeudy is OK!

Denver Broncos second-year wide receiver Jerry Jeudy was carted to the locker room after suffering a gruesome lower leg injury midway through the third quarter of Sunday’s game against the New York Giants.

Jeudy caught a pass near the 13-yard line and had his ankle twisted while being tackled by two defenders. Denver quickly announced that Jeudy has been ruled out for the remainder of the game.

With Jeudy sidelined, the team’s remaining top wide receivers are Courtland Sutton, Tim Patrick and KJ Hamler.

After Jeudy left the game, the Broncos scored on a four-yard Teddy Bridgewater touchdown pass to tight end Albert Okwuegbunam. Following an extra point from kicker Brandon McManus, Denver leads New York 17-7.
