Buffalo Bills sign OL Caleb Benenoch

#Bills sign OL Caleb Benenoch:

The Buffalo Bills have signed some depth to their O-line. Offensive lineman Caleb Benenoch has signed on the dotted line with the team on Wednesday.

Benenoch had a workout with the Bills on Tuesday.

The 26-year-old was a fifth-round pick of the Buccaneers in 2016 and played four years with the team. Benenoch has also spent time with the Patriots, Panthers, Cowboys and Lions mostly via practice squads and training camp appearances.

Between his college and pro career, Benenoch has a Bills trigger word attached to his name: Versatile. He has experience playing both at guard and tackle.

After starting 16 games in 2018 where he graded a 44.8 mark via Pro Football Focus with the Bucs, Benenoch has since only appeared in one NFL game.

In 2019, Benenoch did previously have a workout with the Bills, but the team did not sign him at that time.

The Bills had a workout with Benenoch on the same day where the team announced that offensive lineman Jon Feliciano did not practice due to a sore shoulder.

Along with Feliciano, offensive lineman Forrest Lamp and Marquel Harrell also missed that sixth practice of training camp. Dion Dawkins and Ike Boettger did as well as their spell on the Reserve/COVID-19 list continues, however, they are expected back at practice this week.

The Bills had an open roster spot so signing Benenoch did not require a corresponding move.
