Titans make franchise history after several personnel department moves

The Titans have made franchise history after recent personnel moves.

The Tennessee Titans announced several moves in their personnel department on Tuesday, including one that makes franchise history.

According to Jim Wyatt of Titans Online, Tennessee has promoted Mical Johnson to a full-time role as a scouting assistant, making her the first woman in franchise history to hold such a position.

Johnson, who served as the Amy Adams Strunk Women in Football intern last fall, will “work in both college and pro scouting, evaluating players, monitoring the daily waiver wire, and assisting in the preparation for free agency and the NFL draft.”

Among other moves, Blaise Taylor has been promoted to a pro scout, while Matt Miller will now serve as a college scout. Both were scouting assistants last season.

Accepting this year’s Amy Adams Strunk Women in Football Training Camp internship in Scouting and Operations is Kiara Mayo, a graduate student at Belmont University.

And finally, Kylan Butler, a former offensive coordinator at Morehead State, has been hired as the Bill Walsh Offensive Fellowship Coach for 2021 and will work with all offensive skill positions.
