Cole Beasley questions latest COVID vaccine update, teammates back him

On Thursday, the CDC announced a big update in regard to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the vaccination created to combat it. Per the health organization, those with a full vaccine can now go without mandated mask wearing in many scenarios:

Seeing that update, Beasley had some thoughts on the subject. The wide receiver who previously swore of social media took to his Twitter account on Thursday and questioned that:

Just based on the few message above from Beasley, one can draw a conclusion that the 32-year-old has not gotten a COVID-19 vaccine and he does not appear to be keen to do so. Athletes in particular have had intriguing reactions to COVID and vaccines considering how important their bodies are to their line of work. Consider that, Beasley was not alone in this regard on Thursday.

Previously Bills quarterback Josh Allen made pro-choice comments in regard to the vaccination in April. The QB did not involve himself in Beasley’s chat, but a couple of fellow Bills wide receivers in Gabriel Davis and Isaiah McKenzie did:
