Who needs prospects when you can have picks?
The Carolina Panthers have now traded down twice in a row in the second round of the 2021 NFL draft.
First, they dealt their No. 39 and No. 151 selections to the Chicago Bears for three picks. Now, they’ve moved down seven more spots in a deal with the Cleveland Browns.
According to Field Yates at ESPN, the Panthers are sending No. 52 and No. 113 to Cleveland in exchange for their No. 59 and No. 89 picks.

This now gives Carolina three picks in the third round. They came into tonight with just one.
The Browns used that No. 52 overall pick on Notre Dame linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah.
