The Minnesota Timberwolves (17-44) host the Utah Jazz (44-16) Monday at Target Center. Tip-off is set for 8 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze the Jazz-Timberwolves odds and lines, with NBA picks and predictions.
Minnesota upset Utah 101-96 as a 12.5-point underdog in Utah Saturday. C Karl-Anthony Towns led the way with a 24-point, 12-rebound performance.
The T-Wolves have alternated between wins and losses over their last six games, which includes a split of a two-game set with the Sacramento Kings and a victory over the Miami Heat as 7-point underdogs.
Over the past two weeks, the Jazz are 4-3 straight up but just 2-5 against the spread with outright losses at home as double-digit favorites against the T-Wolves and Washington Wizards.
Ironically, the first-place Jazz are trying to avoid a three-game regular-season sweep by the second-to-last-place T-Wolves.

Jazz at Timberwolves: Odds, lines, predictions and picks
Prediction
Jazz 119, Timberwolves 114
Money line (ML)
PASS with a slight “LEAN” to the Timberwolves (+350) because the payout is so fat and I “like” Minnesota to cover the spread.
That being said, it’d be fairly shocking if this terrible T-Wolves team won all three games this season against the Jazz, who, as of Monday, would have home-court advantage throughout the postseason.
As cheesy as this sounds if there was ever a season for outlier performances it would obviously be this year.

Against the spread (ATS)
From New Year’s Day through April 10, the Jazz won 24 consecutive home games, but they lost two of their past four in Utah and are on a four-game ATS losing skid at home.
Apparently, the T-Wolves match up well against the Jazz. The absence of Mitchell reduces Utah’s edge on the perimeter and Minnesota has outscored the Jazz 112-76 in points in the paint over the first two meetings.
Furthermore, I always anticipated the Jazz coming back to Earth after lighting the Association up for the better part of the past three months.
Finally, Utah has a .500 ATS record when laying double digits and is 15-15 ATS on the road.
BET TIMBERWOLVES +9.5 (-110) for 1 unit.
Over/Under (O/U)
Slight “LEAN” to the OVER 228.5 (-110) for a quarter unit since Saturday’s game went Under the 231-point total by 34 points.
This meeting’s opening line was set at 228 and more than 90% of the money wagered is on the Under, according to Pregame.com.
