With news that veteran shooting guard Evan Fournier will be entering the NBA’s health and safety protocols for the second time in a week just before the team squares off with the Philadelphia 76ers, it’d be easy to get negative about the Celtics outlook.
But for this week’s episode of the Celtics Lab, we decided to flip the script and look at the positives we’ve been seeing from this team since the 2021 NBA trade deadline. Joined by CLNS Media’s Content Director and co-host of the Garden Report Celtics Post Game Show John Zannis, we do our best to dive into the positives we’ve been seeing from the Celtics, trying to decide what’s sustainable and what’s a mirage.
While we didn’t put on our green-tinted lenses, we did find some promising signs that bode well for the rest of the season, even if the coming games without Fournier ought to be tough.
