Kevin Durant found himself trending on Tuesday afternoon after actor Michael Rapaport shared a series of screenshots of a direct message conversation between himself and the Nets star, which appeared to include Durant using homophobic language.
In an Instagram post, Rapaport claimed that Durant wanted to fight him, and called out Durant on Twitter for bringing Rapaport’s wife into the dispute.
“I receive threats and disgusting messages DAILY, but never in my wildest dreams did I think @easymoneysniper would be among them. The đ himself is now threatening me, bringing up my wife and wants to fight. This is supposed to be Americaâs sweetheart right? KD didnât get âhackedâ either. Hold this L champ.”
Durant did not deny that the messages were sent by him, and instead tweeted that his typical conversations with Rapaport are even crazier.
“Me and mike talk CRAZIER than this on the regular and today heâs pissed….My bad mike, damn!!”
