Texas Basketball: Longhorns drop in latest Ferris Mowers Coaches Poll

Texas men’s basketball falls in the latest Ferris Mowers poll from No. 6 to No. 13 after back-to-back losses to Baylor and Oklahoma State.

With dropping four out of their last five games, the Longhorns men’s basketball team fell out of the top 10 for the first time since December. Texas slide seven spaces to No. 13 overall in the latest Ferris Motors Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports.

Head coach Shaka Smart and Co. are now 11-5 (5-4) and are now fifth in the conference standings. With seven scheduled games remaining, on top of three games that have been postponed, Texas will look to bounce back this week against the Kansas State Wildcats and TCU Horned Frogs. Each of these teams are ranked among the bottom three teams in the Big 12 Conference.
