Ohio State continued its upward trajectory by winning at home against Michigan State on Sunday. It was a game the Buckeyes controlled throughout on the way to an impressive 79-62 win. It was far from the response Spartan head coach Tom Izzo hoped for after a bad, bad loss to Rutgers on Thursday.
Izzo is still trying to get this team into form after having to shut things down for a couple of weeks because of a coronavirus outbreak within the program. This team will get better as the year gets longer in the tooth, but right now Ohio State took advantage of a reeling opponent.
Still, there were some things to discuss for the Michigan State head coach. He met with the media via Zoom call afterward and discussed what he saw not only from his team, but Ohio State.
Watch and listen to Izzo discuss how he’s still struggling to find out the identity of his team, the challenges of working through the COVID-19 pandemic, and also how solid and physical Ohio State is as a tough opponent to play against. It’s all courtesy of the SpartanMag YouTube Channel.

Ohio State is next in action Thursday on the road against a very good Iowa team.
