Oklahoma lands Tennessee defensive back Key Lawrence

Freshman defensive back Key Lawrence has transferred to Oklahoma.

Freshman defensive back Key Lawrence has transferred to Oklahoma.

The 6-foot-2, 200-pound Lawrence is from Ensworth High School in Nashville, Tennessee.

Lawrence appeared in all 10 games for the Vols in 2020. He totaled eight tackles and defended one pass.

He set a career-high with four tackles in Tennessee’s season finale against Texas A&M. Against Vanderbilt, Lawrence recorded two tackles and one pass breakup.

Lawrence joins running back Eric Gray and offensive lineman Wanya Morris at Oklahoma. All three players transferred from Tennessee to Oklahoma this month.
