For the first time in the young season, the Golden State Warriors met with the defending champion Los Angeles Lakers at Staples Center for a primetime matchup.
Although the Warriors quickly fell behind to LeBron James, Anthony Davis and the Lakers early in the first quarter, Steph Curry dialed up a pass worthy of a highlight. With 8:38 remaining in the first quarter, Curry scurried through the Lakers’ defense with devastating hesitation to get Davis to bite.
Once the two-time Most Valuable Player moved past Davis, Curry dished a crafty no-look pass to Kelly Oubre Jr. cutting at the baseline. Oubre Jr. finished the dime from Curry with an emphatic throwdown at the rim.

Adding to his no-look pass to Oubre Jr., Curry capped off the first-quarter drilling a signature long-distance triple at the buzzer.
