The Alabama Crimson Tide won another national title Monday night by beating Ohio State 52-24 in Miami.
It was a historic victory for head coach Nick Saban as he won his record-breaking seventh national championship (6 with Alabama, 1 with LSU). He even got emotional moments after the whistle and shed some tears while the confetti rained down.
Students back in Tuscaloosa, meanwhile, celebrated the victory by gathering in a gigantic group of what looked like thousands of kids at an area known as The Ttrip.
As you might know, our country continues to be going through a very deadly COVID-19 spike in which we’ve recently seen over 4,000 deaths in a day.
So yeah, this here doesn’t seem like a good thing:

Hopefully there are lots of masks being worn in that crowd but even if there are that doesn’t seem like the safest or best thing for our country right now.
But hey, Alabama won the championship.
Yippee.
