- The Terrapins slapped the brakes on a two-game skid with an 84-71 win over La Salle last time out, but they failed to cover for a third consecutive outing. Maryland has posted 75.9 points per game with 64.1 PPG allowed.
- The Boilermakers are looking to rebound after a 70-55 beatdown in Iowa City against the fifth-ranked Hawkeyes Tuesday. Purdue also limps in with a 1-4-1 ATS mark across the past six outings while winning just three of the past five overall.
- Purdue enters with a rather mediocre 70.5 free-throw percentage so far, while hitting just 46.6% from the field. Maryland has hit just 71.7% from the charity stripe, and 48.8% from the floor.

Money line (ML)
Purdue (-225) should be able to push past Maryland (+185) in this Big Ten conference tilt, but they’re a risky play at more than two times your potential return. PASS.
Against the spread (ATS)
PURDUE -5.5 (-105) is worth a small-unit play on its home floor, but don’t expect this game to get out of hand. Purdue is 1-4-1 ATS across the past six games, but Maryland is 0-3 ATS across the past three, and 1-4 ATS over its previous five.
Over/Under (O/U)
The OVER 138.5 (-110) is the play, going 3-1-1 in Maryland’s past five outings. The Terps have hit 79 or more points in five of seven games with a push in their lone conference tilt. This won’t be an up-tempo game with a total in the 150’s, but a total of 140 isn’t unreasonable in the least.
