Packers WR Davante Adams sets career-high for TDs on game-tying score vs. Lions

The Packers tied the game on Sunday with a record touchdown by Davante Adams.

Green Bay Packers receiver Davante Adams set a new single-season career-best for receiving touchdowns on a game-tying score Sunday at Ford Field.

Adams, who now has a franchise-record eight games in a row with a touchdown, caught a 56-yard touchdown on the Packers’ first possession on Sunday, tying the game at seven in the first quarter.

Adams now has 14 touchdowns in 2020. His previous best was 13, set in 2018. The Packers’ franchise record is 18 (Sterling Sharpe, 1994).

The 56-yard catch was Adams’ longest of the season.

Adams caught two passes on the opening drive for 60 yards. The Packers needed only three plays to tie the game after the Lions opened the contest with a touchdown drive.
