The Indianapolis Colts signed offensive tackle Will Holden to the active roster from the Baltimore Ravens practice squad, the team announced Thursday.
With Le’Raven Clark on the injured reserve list and Anthony Castonzo still working through an MCL sprain, the Colts had to add another body to the offensive line.
Though Castonzo returned to practice for the first time on Thursday, there is still a chance he misses out on Sunday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Even though Holden wasn’t one of the players the Colts worked out this week at the position, they are bringing him in provide some depth behind Castonzo and Chaz Green.
The hope is that Castonzo will be able to play on Sunday against the Raiders, but Holder will be joining the active roster just for depth purposes.
