Despite just having one win, the Jacksonville Jaguars have been pretty competitive as of late and a key reason for that is because they’ve started their games stronger. That was the case for their Week 13 game that is currently going on against the Minnesota Vikings, although this start is partly due to luck.
In their first drive, veteran quarterback Mike Glennon rolled left of the pocket to buy more time to make a play and let one rip to receiver DJ Chark. However, the ball ended up missing Chark, then bouncing off the hands of cornerback Kris Boyd — and landing in the hands of receiver Laviska Shenault Jr. who was in the end zone.

Talk about a weird play.
Unfortunately, Chase McLaughlin would go on to miss the extra point, though he came back later to kick a field goal and put the Jags up 9-0. The Vikings would then answer back in the second quarter with an Adam Thielen touchdown reception (and a missed extra point attempt) to put the score at it’s current state of 9-6.
