Former Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was 3-0 as the Miami Dolphins starter heading into last week’s matchup against the Denver Broncos. Unfortunately, the game ended in a Miami loss and Tagovailoa benched for poor performance.
In the game, the Alabama product completed 11 of his 20 passing attempts for 83 yards and one touchdown pass.
He had issues controlling the Dolphins offense and was unable to make a dent in the Broncos’ secondary.
While on the sidelines, veteran quarterback, and former starter for Miami, spoke with Tagovailoa. He offered some advice to help the rookie quarterback.
These words of wisdom are what the Dolphins were hoping to accomplish when having Tagovailoa share a quarterback’s room with Fitzpatrick.
