The Cowboys Wire’s favorite player just keeps making plays. For too long, two different coaching staffs were content to let safety Donovan Wilson sit on the sideline. His preseason performance in 2019 should have earned him a spot at the Thanksgiving table with the adults. Instead of carving the turkey, he was relegated to the kids table.
It was much of the same in 2020, only this time there was no preseason to gas Wilson up again. All he did was bide his time and has been making a name for himself ever since. He’s now forced two turnovers in the first half of the game against the Minnesota Vikings after absolutely wrecking Dalvin Cook’s world.

The two forced fumbles bump his season total to three. The Cowboys weren’t able to get in the end zone before half but a field goal extended their lead to nine points at half time.
