Steelers TE Zach Gentry OUT with knee injury

The Pittsburgh Steelers will only have one healthy tight end on the roster for the remainder of the game.

According to the team, Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Zach Gentry suffered a knee injury in the second quarter against the Jacksonville Jaguars and will not return.

Gentry was called into action because starting tight end Vance McDonald is missing his second straight game on the Reserve/COVID-19 list. With Gentry and McDonald unavailable, the only tight end on the roster is Eric Ebron.

When the Steelers want to go heavy, look for offensive tackle Jerald Hawkins or even fullback Derek Watt to see some extra reps. But if we know the Steelers, they won’t miss using two tight ends and will just keep spreading the Jacksonville defense out and throwing to ball to those talented skill position players.

Pittsburgh leads 10-3 with seven minutes left in the first half.
