Get ready for the Tampa Bay Raptors to start the 2020-21 NBA season.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and — per USA TODAY Sports — “unable to secure a plan with Canadian health officials,” Toronto will begin play at Amalie Arena, where the Lightning call home, at least to start the season.
Does that mean they’ll rebrand while in the Sunshine State, maybe like how the Hornets put Oklahoma City on their jerseys and logos? I highly doubt it, but of course when the news dropped on Friday, fans started making logos for the temporary home of the 2019 NBA champs.
Here they are, and some are very funny:

Hey @Raptors saw you're going to be starting the season in Tampa. Thought you might need an alternate logo while you're there. #WeTheNorth pic.twitter.com/1BlZ4rQZrq
