LSU football has faced a number of ups-and-downs during the 2020 season, currently sitting with a losing overall record of 2-3 after an unexpected open date in which the Tigers were supposed to face the top-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide.
LSU’s only two wins of the season have come in the 41-7 routing of the Vanderbilt Commodores in the second game of the year and the team’s 52-24 victory over the South Carolina Gamecocks before the Tigers were blown out, 48-11 by Auburn in their most recent game.
So it doesn’t come as much of a surprise that LSU is still unranked in this week’s edition of the AP top 25.
