Tiger Woods began his title defense at the Masters by doing something he’s never done before at Augusta National Golf.
The 15-time major champion shot a bogey-free 4-under 68 on Thursday, his first blemish-free opening round in his Masters career. Woods was in total control of his golf ball, hitting 15 greens in regulation and 10-of-14 fairways.
For the second consecutive day, Woods will play alongside Shane Lowry and Andy Ogletree, winner of the 2019 U.S. Amateur. With a 2:30 p.m. ET tee time and a sunset just before 5:30 p.m. ET, chances are slim the second round will be finished on Friday.
In the meantime, check out Tiger’s twilight second round from Augusta National below with shot-by-shot analysis.

Hole 1 – Par 4
And we’re off. Tiger starts his day right where he spent his first round — in the fairway. Beautiful tee shot flies down the left side of the fairway, avoiding the bunkers down the right. Let’s go.
