Not only will the Vikings be going up against Tom Brady in Week 14, but they’ll also likely be going up against wide receiver Antonio Brown after the Bucs signed him on Friday.
The game is set for Sunday, Dec. 13 at noon CT.
This assumes, of course, Brown lasts on the Bucs until then. Recent history tells us that might not happen.
The Vikings have gone up against Brown twice over the course of his career. In those games he’s had 17 catches for 150 yards and no touchdowns.
Brown, 32, is just a year removed from having six-straight seasons with 1,200 more more receiving yards. However, last year was a complete nightmare for Brown on and off the field. He ended up not playing a game for the Raiders before they cut ties with him.
Brown then signed with the Patriots. He played just one game, finishing with 56 yards and a touchdown, before off-the-field issues forced the Patriots to release him.
We’ll see how big of a role Brown plays in an offense that already has Mike Evans and Chris Godwin.
