Texas Longhorns announce team captains for 2020

The Texas Longhorns announced the seven members of the team that were named team captains for the 2020 college football season.

On Thursday the Texas announced who the team captains will be for the upcoming season. No shock at all with who is at the top of the list.

Sam Ehlinger, Quarterback

The senior and leader of the football team was named captain for the upcoming season.

Samuel Cosmi, Offensive Tackle

Samuel Cosmi joining the list is another no brainer for the football team. One of the leaders among the offensive line.

Derek Kerstetter, Center

The newest center for the Texas Longhorns Derek Kerstetter makes up the final offensive player to be named team captain.

Joseph Ossai, Jack

The new quarterback hunter role should suit this captain well in Joseph Ossai. He led the team in sacks a season ago.

Ta’Quon Graham, Defensive Tackle

Ta’Quon Graham is the second member of the defensive line to be named captain in 2020. Graham is a senior from Temple, Texas.

Chris Brown, Safety
