The NBA playoffs are expected to resume after a work stoppage on Wednesday, following a players’ meeting in which it was decided that the players would finish the season, according to multiple reports. Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports reported that among others, LeBron James had a shift and decided it would be in the best interest of the players to finish what they started in the bubble by finishing the playoffs.
The NBA has not made any formal announcements, but the playoffs will resume this weekend and perhaps as early as tomorrow, playing the Game 5s that were scheduled for yesterday, according to Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press.
Source tells AP a scenario being considered by the NBA is a common-sense one: Play Wednesday's games tomorrow, play Thursday's games Saturday.

The NBA will likely make a formal announcement about when the playoffs will resume later today, but it does appear that it’s safe to say there will be a conclusion to the current NBA season. It remains to be seen what concessions, if any, will be given by the owners to incentivize players to finish the season.
