All the reports out of Pittsburgh Steelers training camp about quarterback Ben Roethlisberger are glowing. Roethlisberger himself says he’s in the best shape of his life and his teammates say his arm is as good as it has ever been.
When Roethlisberger spoke to the media this week he noted the elbow problem that finally required surgery had been ongoing for more than a year. Meaning in 2018 when he led the passing yards, he was not 100 percent.
If it is true Roethlisberger is in the best shape of his career, even at 38 years old you have to think he’s ready to keep going with this young and talented offense. How many more years do you think Big Ben will play?

Roethlisberger will be a free agent in 2022 but if he can still play you can bet Pittsburgh will do their very best to keep him on the team. I can definitely see Roethlisberger doing something similar to what Tom Brady is doing in the league by focusing on his fitness and allowing him to keep playing at a high level.
